VeloMelo offers opportunities to explore the world and make lifelong friends. We understand that club members are in a wide range of phases of life with family events, work commitments, and financial constraints. We offer a variety of travel options to provide a portal for you and your bike to explore the world locally, within the United States, and throughout Europe!

Local
Most of our members reside within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, which provide wonderful day trip explorations to the countryside, mountains, and seashore. Look here for upcoming day and weekend trips posted by members organizing rides to Skyline Drive, Frederick County, Poolesville, the eastern shore, and other wonderful venues.
Across the U.S.
VeloMelo has connections in the Fort Collins area of Colorado and will post summer trips to explore the Rockies. We will also post events in New York, California, South Carolina, and many other cycling destinations.
Europe
VeloMelo has formed a partnership with the Grupeto Cafe / Travel owners and offers well-organized, reasonably priced trips to Portugal and throughout Europe. The owners are VeloMelo club members and our close friends.
VeloMelo will be planning trips during the spring and fall every year. The trip details will be defined by the input of the participants including price, region of Portugal or Europe, pace, fun activities, and type of riding (road, gravel, & competitive road advanced training).
